ZIMBABWE SCHOOLS
The Uniting Presbyterian Church in Southern Africa is oversees twelve schools in Zimbabwe. Ten centred around the Bulawayo Region and two in the Harare area. These schools have experienced severe crises in terms of resources as a consequence of the socio-economic and political instability that has taken place in Zimbabwe.
Our vision for this Outreach is to share the love of Christ as follows:
- To adopt a specific school, and
- To develop relationships with the staff and leadership
- To ascertain the needs and conditions prevalent in the school
- To make visits to the school
- To transport needed items on each visit
- To take work parties on each visit to assist with maintenance and projects
