Our vision is to be a Young People’s Ministry overflowing with the Joy of Christ; we seek to Encourage the children in our congregation to live in a daily relationship with Jesus, to guide them, through bible-based teaching and Spirit-filled worship and fellowship, into the understanding and acceptance of Christ’s Love, Forgiveness and Saving Grace and to encourage the development of Christ-centred families in a safe, secure and fun-filled environment.
Our Sunday Ministry is for children aged 4-11 and takes place in the church hall. We run congruently with the church services (8:00 and 9:30). We are all about using fun and creative lessons to teach the children in a way that’s memorable and enjoyable. We have 3 age groups, 4 to 5, 6 to 8 and 9 to 11. We do however interact in large groups (where all the age groups are together) and small groups (dividing into the appropriate age group).
The material that we are using for the first half of this term is called Off Road: conflict God’s way, it teaches the children how to deal with conflict in a way that is pleasing to God. With fun worship songs and captivating interactive lessons your children will be begging you to take them to church!
Our Teen Church takes place in the church house. The teens however meet in the church and enjoy the first 20 minutes of worship with the other adults, they then move down to the church house for some awesome lessons. This term they will be learning all about the armour of God, all teenagers are welcome!
