The Bethel Series is a two year overview of the bible which is divided into 21 weeks on the Old Testament and 21 weeks on the New Testament.
It is taught in over 47 denominations all over the world and to over 1 million people. It has been in Southern Africa since 1985 and taught in many different denominations to close to 100 000 people
It is not a bible study per se, although the content of the entire bible is covered.
It was designed to equip those who attend the course with the knowledge and skills necessary to unlock the truths of the scriptures.
What is also unique about Bethel is its format. Assignments, Key concepts and Pictures are used as memory aids.
The result is a compact well presented and easily accessible course.

Alpha is a 11-week series of sessions exploring the Christian faith. Each talk looks at a different question around faith and life, and is designed to create conversation.
All over the world, millions of people have tried Alpha and it has been translated into 112 different languages. The Alpha Talks have been repackaged for today’s audience in the Alpha Film Series. Even as times have changed, the Alpha course has continued to be used by the church as an effective tool to reach the lost with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Everyone is welcome.

Scripture guides you toward God. and the Precept Course guides you through Scripture.
Life-changing intimacy with God is the heart of Precept. Since 1970, Precept has been equipping small group Bible Study Leaders who can help you discover the truth of Scripture for yourself, but not by yourself.

Intercessory Prayer Groups
In response to the call in scripture to pray without ceasing and to bring all kinds of prayers and requests before the Lord, Midchurch is blessed with three intercessory prayer groups. Two are daily prayer groups, the one using emails to share prayer requests and the other using WhatsApp to offer prayers.
We also have a team who pray every Sunday morning at 07h00 in Ministry House for the day’s worship services and all who will be participating.
Prayer requests can be placed on the prayer cross on Sunday mornings after worship or sent via email: prayer@midchurch.co.za
Pray with an Elder
After each worship service there is an opportunity to be prayed for. By remaining seated, an Elder will join you and pray with you.
Prayer Cross
